From Gillette Castle State Park, head northwest on Castle Rd toward CT-82. Turn right onto CT-82 W and continue for about 4.5 miles. Merge onto CT-9 N via the ramp to Hartford. After approximately 6 miles, take exit 8 for CT-80 E toward East Haven. Continue on CT-80 E for about 12 miles until you reach the intersection with Hopyard Rd. Turn right onto Hopyard Rd, and after about 1 mile, Devil's Hopyard State Park will be on your left at 366 Hopyard Rd, East Haddam, CT 06423. Parking is available at the park entrance.
