Starting from Gillette Castle State Park, exit the park and head south on CT-82 E. Continue on CT-82 E for about 1.5 miles. Merge onto CT-9 N via the ramp to Hartford. Stay on CT-9 N for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 8 for CT-66 E toward Middletown. Merge onto CT-66 E and follow signs for Moodus. After about 9 miles, turn left onto Leesville Rd. Continue for about 1 mile, and Sunrise State Park will be on your right at 121 Leesville Rd, Moodus, CT 06469.
