Car
If you're traveling by car, start by getting onto I-95 N from Greater New Haven. Follow I-95 N to I-91 N and take exit 3 for US-5 N toward New Haven. Merge onto US-5 N, and then continue straight onto Whalley Ave. After about 3 miles, turn left onto the entrance for West Rock State Park. Follow the park road until you reach the Judges Cave parking area. There is no entry fee for the state park.

To reach Judges Cave using public transportation, take the CTtransit bus # 223 from downtown New Haven towards West Rock State Park. Disembark at the West Rock State Park stop. From there, you will need to walk approximately 1 mile on the park road to reach Judges Cave. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited; fares typically range from $1.75 to $2.00 one way.
