From Greenwich, head to the Greenwich Train Station located at 2 Railroad Avenue. Board a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.

At Grand Central, take the 4, 5, 6, or 7 subway line to 42nd Street - Grand Central. Transfer to the 6 train (green line) heading downtown towards Brooklyn Bridge. Get off at the 68th Street - Hunter College stop.

After exiting the subway at 68th Street, walk west on East 68th Street towards Park Avenue. Turn left onto Park Avenue and walk south until you reach East 59th Street. Turn right onto East 59th Street and continue until you reach Fifth Avenue. Cross Fifth Avenue to enter Central Park, and follow the path to reach the Ancient Playground located near the Metropolitan Museum of Art on Museum Mile.

Alternatively, from Grand Central, you can take the M1 or M2 bus from 42nd Street to the Upper East Side. Get off at the stop near the Metropolitan Museum of Art, and walk to the Ancient Playground, which is adjacent to the museum.
