Walking
If you are in downtown Greenwich, head towards the Greenwich Train Station. From there, take the Metro-North train towards Grand Central Terminal. After about a 45-minute ride, get off at Grand Central. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 6 train towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Transfer at 42nd Street-Grand Central to the S train towards Times Square-42nd Street. Get off at 42nd Street-Times Square and transfer to the 7 train towards Flushing. Travel to the 5th Avenue stop and walk east until you reach 72nd Street. You will find the Central Park Boathouse directly at East 72nd Street and Center Drive.
Public Bus
From downtown Greenwich, find a bus stop for the 10 or 11 bus routes heading towards Stamford. Ride the bus until you reach the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, catch a Metro-North train to Grand Central Terminal. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 6 train towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall. Transfer at 42nd Street-Grand Central for the S train towards Times Square-42nd Street. Get off at 42nd Street and then switch to the 7 train, heading to Flushing. Get off at 5th Avenue and walk east to East 72nd Street to reach the Central Park Boathouse.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from a nearby rental service in Greenwich. Start from the center of Greenwich and bike towards the nearest train station to take the Metro-North train to New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, you can continue biking. Exit the terminal and head east on 42nd Street. Turn right onto Park Avenue and continue north until you reach East 72nd Street. Make a left on 72nd Street, and you will find the Central Park Boathouse at Center Drive.
