Getting There

  • Train

    Start by making your way to the Greenwich Metro-North Railroad station, located at 2 Railroad Avenue, Greenwich, CT. From there, purchase a ticket for the New Haven Line to Grand Central Terminal. The train ride will take about 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.

  • Subway

    At Grand Central, take the 4 or 5 subway line (green line) towards Bowling Green. After 5 stops, get off at the Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall station. From there, transfer to the 6 subway line (light green line) towards Brooklyn Bridge-City Hall and get off at the next stop, which is Canal Street.

  • Walking

    Once you exit the Canal Street subway station, head west on Canal Street towards Broadway. Turn left onto Broadway and walk until you reach the intersection with Mulberry Street. Turn right onto Mulberry Street, and you will find the Italian American Museum at 151 Mulberry Street on your right side.

  • Bus

    Alternatively, after arriving at Grand Central, you can take the M15 bus towards South Ferry. Board the bus from the bus terminal outside Grand Central, and ride until you reach the intersection of Mulberry Street. Get off at the nearest stop and walk a short distance to reach the Italian American Museum.
