Disembark at the Grand Central Terminal station after approximately 50 minutes. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street Shuttle (S train) and take the shuttle towards Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway line towards downtown Manhattan. Get off at the Chambers Street station and transfer to the A or C line towards Brooklyn. Get off at the Canal Street station, which is a short walk from your destination.
