From Grand Army Plaza, walk east along Eastern Parkway for about 5 minutes. Mount Prospect Park will be on your right, between the Brooklyn Museum and the Brooklyn Public Library. The cost for a subway or local bus is $2.90 per ride. You can pay using OMNY with a contactless credit/debit card or mobile device, or with a MetroCard. An OMNY card offers a 12-ride fare cap, where rides become free after 12 journeys within 7 days, costing $34 weekly.
Walking
From the Brooklyn Museum, head west along Eastern Parkway for a few steps. Mount Prospect Park is directly adjacent to the museum on the western side. There is no cost for walking.
Taxi/Ride-Share
From Barclays Center, a taxi or ride-share to Mount Prospect Park will take approximately 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic. Expect to pay around $15-$25 for the ride. Note that traffic can be heavy during peak hours.
