    Public Transport

    From central Greenwich, walk to the Greenwich Metro-North Train Station (approx. 10-15 minutes). Board a train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once you arrive at Grand Central, transfer to the subway. Take the 4, 5, 6, or S train to 42nd Street-Grand Central station, then switch to the 7 train towards Flushing. Get off at the 34th Street-Hudson Yards stop. From there, walk to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, and catch a bus heading to New York's Upper East Side. Get off at the stop closest to the intersection of 65th Street and Central Park West. Walk east on 65th Street until you reach Sheep Meadow, which is located inside Central Park.

    Bicycle

    If you have access to a bicycle, you can rent one from a local bike-sharing service. Start your ride from Greenwich towards the nearest path leading to the Bronx River Greenway. Follow the Greenway north to the Bronx, then head towards Manhattan via the Madison Avenue Bridge.
