Public Bus
From Greenwich, head to the nearest bus stop for the CT Transit Bus Service. Take the bus towards Stamford and transfer at Stamford Transportation Center. From there, catch the Short Line bus (Route 9) heading towards Stony Point. Make sure to inform the driver you want to get off at Battlefield Road. Once you arrive at the stop, walk about 5 minutes northeast along Battlefield Road to reach Stony Point Lighthouse.
Train and Bus
Begin your journey at the Greenwich Train Station. Take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal and get off at the Peekskill Station. From Peekskill, find the local bus service (Rockland Coaches) that goes to Stony Point. Request to stop at Battlefield Road. Once you arrive, walk approximately 10 minutes along Battlefield Road to reach the Stony Point Lighthouse.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Greenwich. Follow the scenic route along the waterfront towards the north. Ride along the scenic roads, keeping to the right. When you reach the intersection with Route 9W, carefully navigate to Battlefield Road. Follow Battlefield Road until you see the Stony Point Lighthouse, which should take around 45 minutes of biking.
Walking
For a more leisurely option, if you’re staying close to the center of Greenwich, you can walk to the nearest bus stop at Greenwich Avenue. From there, take the CT Transit bus to Stamford and transfer to the Short Line bus as previously described. Alternatively, if you're near the waterfront, enjoy a pleasant walk towards the shoreline, which leads to local bus stops heading north towards Stony Point. Once at Battlefield Road, it’s a short walk to the lighthouse.
