Once you exit the station, follow the signs to the 42nd Street exit. Walk west on 42nd Street until you reach 8th Avenue. Turn left onto 8th Avenue and take the subway line 'A' towards Inwood-207 St. After 3 stops, transfer at 14th Street - 8th Avenue and take the 'L' train towards Canarsie-Rockaway Parkway. Get off at the 8th Avenue stop and walk south on 8th Avenue for one block until you reach Gansevoort St.

If you are already in Greenwich, the best way to get to Gansevoort St is to walk to the nearest Metro-North station. From there, take the train to New York City.
