Public Transport
From Greenwich, head to the nearest Metro-North train station, which is Greenwich Station. Purchase a ticket for the New Haven Line towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once on the train, enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 40 minutes. Upon arriving at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the subway (MTA). Take the 7 train from Grand Central to Times Square-42nd Street. At Times Square, transfer to the 1 train towards South Ferry and ride it for 3 stops until you reach the 50th Street Station. Exit the station and walk west on 50th Street until you reach 300 W 57th St, which is the Hearst Tower.

If you prefer to walk, start at the Greenwich Town Hall and head northwest on Greenwich Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the Greenwich Metro-North train station. From there, take the train as described above. After reaching 50th Street Station, upon exiting, walk west on 50th Street, then turn left on 8th Avenue. Continue walking until you reach 57th Street, then turn right. The Hearst Tower will be on your left at 300 W 57th St.
