Getting There

  • Train

    To reach Columbus Circle from Yonkers, start by walking to the Yonkers train station located at 1 Alexander St, Yonkers, NY 10701. Purchase a ticket for the Metro-North Railroad's Hudson Line towards Grand Central Terminal. The train ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, follow the signs to the subway. Take the 42nd Street Shuttle (S train) towards Times Square. At Times Square, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway line and head downtown for one stop to 59th Street - Columbus Circle. Exit the subway and you will be at Columbus Circle.

    From Yonkers, you can also take the Bee-Line bus #1 towards the Bronx. Get on at any bus stop along the route that serves the Bee-Line #1, and stay on the bus until you reach the last stop at the 242nd Street subway station. From there, enter the subway station and take the 1 train towards South Ferry. Stay on the train for 16 stops until you reach the 59th Street - Columbus Circle station. Exit the subway, and you will be at Columbus Circle.
