Getting There
Walking
If you are starting from the Greenwich Train Station, exit the station and head northwest on Railroad Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Putnam Avenue (Route 1). Cross East Putnam Avenue and turn left. Continue walking for about 0.5 miles until you reach the Greenwich Avenue intersection. Turn right onto Greenwich Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will eventually come to a bus stop where you can catch the MTA bus heading to New York City. Board the bus heading towards 'New York'. After approximately 55 minutes on the bus, you will arrive at Sheridan Square in Manhattan.
Public Transportation
From the Greenwich Train Station, purchase a ticket for the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride, which takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and walk towards 42nd Street. From there, catch the M42 bus heading west. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at 7th Avenue & 12th Street. Walk south on 7th Avenue until you reach Sheridan Square.
Bicycling
If you're comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs in Greenwich. Start from the central area of Greenwich and head towards the Greenwich Avenue. Follow Greenwich Avenue north until it merges with East Putnam Avenue. Continue on East Putnam Avenue until you reach the Byram River. Cross the bridge and continue straight until you reach the New York state border and enter the Bronx. Follow the signs for the Bronx River Parkway and continue straight until you reach the Manhattan exit towards Sheridan Square.
