    From Hammonasset Beach State Park, exit the park and turn left onto Route 1 (Boston Post Road). Continue west for about 3.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 77. Turn right onto Route 77 North and continue for approximately 5 miles. When you arrive in Guilford, turn left onto Boston Street (Route 146). Hyland House will be on your left at 84 Boston St, Guilford, CT 06437. There is free parking available on-site.

    From Hammonasset Beach State Park, you can take a CT Transit bus (Route 1) towards New Haven. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop on Route 1. Ride for about 25 minutes and get off at the Guilford Green stop. From there, walk approximately 0.5 miles west along Main Street, which becomes Boston Street. Hyland House will be located at 84 Boston St, Guilford, CT 06437. Please be aware that the bus fare is approximately $1.75.
