    From Route 9, take Exit 15 for Route 66 toward Middletown. Follow Route 66 and look for signs for Wadsworth Falls State Park and Route 157. Turn onto Route 157, and the park entrance will be on your left. Parking is available at the main entrance at 721 Wadsworth St, Middletown. Alternatively, for closer access to the Big Falls, use the parking area at 25 Cherry Hill Rd, Rockfall. Note that out-of-state visitors must purchase a day pass, costing $10 on weekdays and $15 on weekends/holidays. Connecticut residents with Connecticut-registered vehicles park for free.

  • Walking

    From the main parking area at 721 Wadsworth St, Middletown, follow the orange trail towards the Little Falls. Continue to the blue trail, which will lead you to the Little Falls. To reach the Big Falls, follow the orange trail back and then walk along Cherry Hill Road for a short distance. Note that there is a level walk from the parking area on Cherry Hill Road to the brink of the Big Falls.
