Walking
If you're starting from downtown Hartford, walk towards the Connecticut River. Head east on Asylum Street until you reach the riverfront at Columbus Boulevard. Turn left onto Columbus Boulevard and follow it north until you reach the intersection with State Street. Continue straight to cross the bridge over the river, which will take you into East Hartford. Once you are on the bridge, you will be able to see Founders Bridge on your right. After crossing, follow the signs for East River Drive, and Founders Bridge will be located at 235 E River Dr.
