Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from downtown Hartford, head west on Asylum Street towards Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Main Street, then turn left onto Main Street. Walk for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Farmington Avenue. Turn right onto Farmington Avenue and continue for about 0.3 miles. Next, turn left onto Scarborough Street. Continue walking on Scarborough Street for about 0.2 miles, and you will arrive at the Prospect Avenue Historic District, located at 61 Scarborough St.

• Public Transport

  From downtown Hartford, you can take the CT Transit bus route 41 towards West Hartford. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop, such as at the intersection of Main Street and Asylum Street. Stay on the bus for approximately 15 minutes, and get off at the stop for Farmington Avenue and Scarborough Street. From there, walk east on Scarborough Street for about 0.1 miles, and you will reach the Prospect Avenue Historic District at 61 Scarborough St.

  If you prefer to bike, you can rent a bike from a local bike-sharing service in downtown Hartford. Start by heading west on Asylum Street towards Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street and bike for about 0.5 miles. When you reach Farmington Avenue, turn right and continue for about 0.3 miles. Turn left onto Scarborough Street and bike for about 0.2 miles until you arrive at the Prospect Avenue Historic District, located at 61 Scarborough St.
