Walking
If you are starting from West Hartford Center, head southeast on LaSalle Road towards South Main Street. Turn right onto South Main Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Farmington Avenue. Cross over to the opposite side of the street and proceed down Farmington Avenue. After approximately half a mile, you will reach the entrance of Elizabeth Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the walking paths towards the southern exit. Once you exit the park, continue straight onto the path that leads to the Hartford area. You will eventually arrive at the intersection of Asylum Avenue and Farmington Avenue. Continue straight onto Asylum Avenue and follow it as it turns into Washington Street. You will see the Horace Bushnell Promenade on your right. Corning Fountain is located along this promenade.

Public Transportation
From West Hartford Center, walk to the nearest bus stop on South Main Street. Take the CT Transit Bus Route 41 towards Hartford. Stay on the bus for about 15 minutes and disembark at the stop on Asylum Avenue. After getting off, walk east on Asylum Avenue until you reach the intersection of Washington Street. Turn right onto Washington Street, and you will see the entrance to the Horace Bushnell Promenade on your left. Walk along the promenade, and you will find Corning Fountain located along the pathway.
