Walking
If you are starting from West Hartford Center, head southeast on LaSalle Road towards South Main Street. Turn right onto South Main Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Farmington Avenue. Cross over to the opposite side of the street and proceed down Farmington Avenue. After approximately half a mile, you will reach the entrance of Elizabeth Park on your left. Enter the park and follow the walking paths towards the southern exit. Once you exit the park, continue straight onto the path that leads to the Hartford area. You will eventually arrive at the intersection of Asylum Avenue and Farmington Avenue. Continue straight onto Asylum Avenue and follow it as it turns into Washington Street. You will see the Horace Bushnell Promenade on your right. Corning Fountain is located along this promenade.
