If you're driving from anywhere in the Housatonic Valley, take Route 9 south. Merge onto I-95 S towards New Haven. Then, take exit 66 for CT-82 E toward East Haddam. Follow CT-82 E until you reach the intersection with Hopyard Rd. Turn right onto Hopyard Rd, and continue straight for about 2 miles. The entrance to Devil's Hopyard State Park will be on your left. There is no entrance fee to the park.
