Walking
Starting from downtown Meriden, head east on West Main Street. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with North Colony Road. Turn left onto North Colony Road and walk for about half a mile. You will see the entrance to the Chauncey Peak Trail on your right. The trailhead is marked, and you will begin your ascent from there.

Public Transit (Bus)
From Meriden's downtown, take the CT Transit bus route 20 towards Wallingford. After approximately 15 minutes, get off at the 'East Main St & Colony St' stop. From there, walk east on East Main Street until you reach North Colony Road. Turn left and walk about half a mile to find the entrance to the Chauncey Peak Trail on your right.

If you have access to a bicycle, start at Meriden City Hall and head north on the Meriden Linear Trail. Follow the trail until it merges with the West Main Street. Continue on West Main Street, then turn left on North Colony Road. The entrance to the Chauncey Peak Trail will be on your right after about half a mile.
