    Machimoodus State Park is located at 128 Leesville Rd, Moodus, CT 06469. From Route 151, turn onto Leesville Road. The park entrance and parking lot are a short distance on the right. Parking is free and plentiful. Note that the parking lot can be relatively empty even on good weather days.

  • Public Transport

    While there is no direct public transportation to Machimoodus State Park, you can take a train or bus to Hartford or Old Saybrook. From either location, a taxi or ride-sharing service is required to reach the park. A taxi from Old Saybrook Amtrak Station to the park will cost approximately $65-$310 and take about 20 minutes. A bus from Boston to Hartford Union Station and then another bus to the park will take around 3h 47m and cost $50-$109.
