Car
To reach Chatfield Hollow State Park by car, start by getting on CT-9 S from your current location in Middlesex County. If you're coming from Middletown, head south on Main St toward Washington St, then take the ramp on the left to merge onto CT-9 S. Continue on CT-9 S for about 10 miles, then take exit 9 for Route 80. After exiting, turn left onto Route 80 E. Follow Route 80 for approximately 3 miles, and the park entrance will be on your left at 381 Rte 80, Killingworth, CT 06419. There is no entrance fee for the park, and parking is available on-site.
Public Transportation
Public transportation options to Chatfield Hollow State Park are limited, but you can take a bus from Middletown to Old Saybrook via the 9 or 10 bus lines. Get off at the Old Saybrook train station.
