From any location in Middlesex County, head towards Farmington. Use Interstate 91 North or Route 9 North to reach Farmington. If using I-91, take Exit 22 for I-84 West towards Waterbury. Continue on I-84 and take Exit 39 for Farmington Avenue (Route 4). Follow Farmington Avenue until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn left onto Main Street, then take another left onto Metacomet Trail. Continue along Metacomet Trail until you see signs for Will Warren's Den.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, take a bus from your current location to the nearest transit center. For example, from Middletown, take the CT Transit Route 10 bus towards Hartford. Get off at the Farmington Avenue stop. From there, you can either walk approximately 1.5 miles west along Farmington Avenue to Metacomet Trail, or use a rideshare service to cover the distance. Note that walking may take about 30 minutes.
