Getting There

    From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, head south on Mohawk Mountain Road for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 4. Turn left onto Route 4 East. Continue on Route 4 for about 7 miles until you reach the town of Washington Depot. As you enter Washington Depot, turn right onto Mount Tom Road. Follow Mount Tom Road for about 3 miles. The entrance to Mt Tom State Park will be on your left. Parking is available at the park entrance, and there is no fee for parking.

    If you're using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the Mohawk Mountain Ski Area to the nearest major bus terminal, which is in Torrington. Once in Torrington, transfer to the CT Transit bus that goes to Washington Depot. Ensure to check the bus schedule as services may vary. After reaching Washington Depot, you can either walk 3 miles to Mt Tom State Park or consider calling a local taxi service for a ride, which may incur additional costs.
