From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, head south on Route 4. After about 10 miles, you will merge onto Route 8 South. Continue on Route 8 for approximately 8 miles. Take Exit 38 for Thomaston. Turn left onto E Main St and follow it for about 1 mile. The Railroad Museum of New England will be on your left at 242 E Main St, Thomaston, CT 06787. Parking is available on-site.
