If you are driving from the center of Putnam, CT, head south on Main St toward Woodstock Ave. After about 0.5 miles, merge onto I-395 S. Continue on I-395 S for approximately 10 miles. Take exit 12 for CT-6 W toward Brooklyn. Merge onto CT-6 W and continue for about 7.5 miles. Turn right onto CT-97 N and follow for about 5 miles. Turn left onto E Main St. Continue straight to stay on E Main St, and you will arrive at Horseshoe Falls-the Ted Knight Bridge in Terryville, CT, which is located at 41.6699° N, 72.9940° W. Parking is available on site.

If you prefer public transportation, take a bus from Willimantic to Torrington. From the Willimantic Transit District, board the CT Transit bus towards Torrington. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once in Torrington, transfer to the CT Transit bus heading toward Terryville. This should take another 30 minutes. Get off at the stop closest to E Main St. From there, it is a short walk (approximately 0.5 miles) to Horseshoe Falls-the Ted Knight Bridge. Be sure to check the CT Transit schedule prior to your trip, as bus frequencies may vary.
