To reach Sunnybrook State Park from Mohawk Mountain Ski Area by car, start by heading southeast on Mohawk Mountain Rd toward Route 4. Turn right onto Route 4 and continue for approximately 3.5 miles. Merge onto Route 8 South towards Waterbury. After about 6 miles, take exit 46 for Route 202 toward Torrington. Continue on Route 202 for about 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Newfield Rd. Turn left onto Newfield Rd, and after a short drive, you will find Sunnybrook State Park on your right. Parking is available on-site, and no entrance fee is required.
