Getting There

    From Mohawk Mountain Ski Area, start by heading south on Mohawk Mountain Road. Continue for approximately 4 miles until you reach the intersection with Route 44. Turn left onto Route 44 East and drive for about 6 miles. As you approach the town of Litchfield, watch for the traffic circle and take the second exit onto Route 202. Continue for about 2 miles, then turn right onto Whitehall Road. The White Memorial Conservation Center will be on your left at 80 Whitehall Rd, Litchfield, CT 06759. Parking is available on-site.

    If you are using public transportation, first take a bus from the Mohawk Mountain Ski Area to the nearest major bus terminal, which is in Torrington. From there, you can take the CT Transit bus towards Litchfield. Be sure to check the bus schedules in advance for accurate timings.
