Getting There

• Walking

  Starting from New Britain City Hall at 27 West Main Street, head east on West Main Street toward North Main Street. Continue for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with North Main Street. Turn right onto North Main Street. After walking another 0.6 miles, you will reach the New Britain Transportation Center. From there, take the CT Transit bus route 84 towards Hartford. Stay on the bus for approximately 25 minutes. Get off at the stop at 211 High Street, Hartford. The Isham-Terry House is located a short walk from the bus stop.

• Public Transportation (Bus)

  From the New Britain Transportation Center, board the CT Transit bus route 84 towards Hartford. This bus will take you directly to Hartford, which is about a 25-minute ride. Once you arrive at 211 High Street, Hartford, disembark the bus and walk a short distance to the Isham-Terry House. It's a historical landmark located within a bustling area of Hartford.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, start at the New Britain City Hall. Head east on West Main Street, then turn right onto North Main Street. Continue biking along North Main Street until you reach the New Britain Transportation Center. From there, take the bike path along the CT River towards Hartford. Upon arriving in Hartford, you can use bike lanes to navigate to 211 High Street. The Isham-Terry House is easily accessible from the main road.
