Getting There

• Walking

  If you are starting from the Norwalk Transit Center, exit the station and head south on West Avenue. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and walk for about 0.2 miles. You will then see a sign for Water Street. Turn left onto Water Street and walk for approximately 0.3 miles. The Lock Building will be on your left at 20 N Water St. Look for the historical landmark sign.

• Public Transportation

  From the Norwalk Transit Center, take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central Terminal. Get off at the South Norwalk station. Once you arrive at South Norwalk, exit the station and head south on Washington Street. Walk for about 0.3 miles until you reach an intersection with Water Street. Turn left onto Water Street and continue walking for about 0.2 miles until you reach The Lock Building at 20 N Water St.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, start from the Norwalk River Valley Trail. Head south along the trail until you reach Martin Luther King Drive. Turn left onto Martin Luther King Drive and continue for about 0.5 miles. Turn right onto Washington Street and bike for another 0.3 miles. Finally, turn left onto Water Street and continue for about 0.2 miles. The Lock Building will be on your right at 20 N Water St.
