    Getting There

    Car

    From Ski Sundown, head south on Ski Sundown Road towards Route 44. Turn right onto Route 44 and continue for approximately 11 miles. You will pass through the towns of New Hartford and Barkhamsted. After entering Norfolk, turn left onto Litchfield Road (Route 272). Continue on Litchfield Road for about 2 miles until you reach Dennis Hill State Park, located at 519 Litchfield Rd, Norfolk Historic District, CT 06058. There is no entry fee for the park.

    Public Transportation

    If you are using public transportation, you will need to take a bus from the nearest station in Torrington. From Ski Sundown, you can drive or take a taxi to the Torrington bus station. Once at the bus station, board the CT Transit bus towards Norfolk. After arriving in Norfolk, you will need to walk approximately 1.5 miles to Dennis Hill State Park. Be sure to check the bus schedule in advance as service may be limited, and remember to have cash for the bus fare, which typically costs around $1.75.
