    From Hartford, take I-91 South. After about 18 miles, take exit 22S to merge onto Route 9 South toward Middletown. Continue on Route 9 for approximately 15 miles. Take exit 10 for Route 154 toward Haddam. Follow Route 154 for about 4 miles, then turn left onto Parmelee Rd. Haddam Meadows State Park will be on your right at 20 Parmelee Rd, Haddam, CT 06438.

    If you prefer public transportation, you can take a bus from Hartford to Middletown using CTtransit bus services. Once in Middletown, transfer to the 1 or 3 bus routes toward Haddam. Please check the schedule in advance as bus services may be limited, especially on weekends. After arriving in Haddam, it is recommended to use a rideshare service or taxi to reach the park, as it is approximately 2 miles from the bus stop to the park entrance.

  • Bicycle
