Train
From Stamford, head to the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Place. You can walk there from downtown Stamford or take a local bus if needed. Once at the Transportation Center, purchase a ticket for a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in New York City. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and follow the signs to 42nd Street. Walk west towards 7th Avenue; Broadway is just a short walk from there.
Bus
From Stamford, you can take a CT Transit bus heading towards New York City. Check the schedule for the bus that suits your timing. The bus will drop you off at various locations in Manhattan. If you get off near Times Square, you will be close to Broadway. From there, you can walk to Broadway by heading south along 7th Avenue.
Bicycle
If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-share programs available in Stamford. Start from downtown Stamford and follow the bike paths towards the New York border. Once you reach the NYC area, you can navigate towards Broadway by using bike lanes that lead to the city center. Be sure to wear a helmet and follow local biking regulations.
Walking
If you are staying close to Stamford and prefer to walk, you can start at the Stamford Town Center. Head towards the waterfront and take the scenic route through the park until you reach the Stamford Transportation Center. From there, take a train to New York City as described earlier. In New York, you can walk to Broadway from Grand Central Terminal as well.
