Walking
If you are in downtown Stamford, head towards the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Place. From the center, exit onto Atlantic Street and turn left. Walk straight until you reach the intersection with Main Street. Turn right onto Main Street and continue walking until you reach the corner of Main Street and Tresser Boulevard. Here, you can catch a bus heading to New York City (MTA Metro-North Railroad trains are also available). Take a train to Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway and take the 1 train towards South Ferry. Get off at the 66th Street - Lincoln Center station. From there, it's a short walk west on 63rd Street until you reach Columbus Avenue. Dante Park will be at the intersection with W 63rd St.
Public Transit
Start at the Stamford Transportation Center located at 30 Station Place. Purchase a ticket for the Metro-North Railroad train heading to New York City. Board the train and enjoy the scenic ride. Once you arrive at Grand Central Terminal, transfer to the subway system. Follow the signs to the 1 train (red line) and take it towards South Ferry. Disembark at the 66th Street - Lincoln Center station. Exit the station and walk west on 63rd Street, where you will find Dante Park at the intersection with Columbus Avenue.
