Train
To reach Hadestown at 219 W 48th St, New York, NY 10036 from Stamford, start by making your way to the Stamford Train Station. From anywhere in Stamford, you can take a local bus, taxi, or rideshare to the station. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a Metro-North train heading towards Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. The ride will take approximately 45 minutes. Upon arriving at Grand Central, exit the station and follow the signs to the subway. Take the S (Shuttle) train to Times Square-42nd Street. From there, transfer to the 1, 2, or 3 subway lines and get off at 42nd Street-Times Square. Then, walk west along 42nd St to 8th Ave, turn right on 8th Ave, and walk north to W 48th St. Turn left on W 48th St, and you will find Hadestown.
Bus
From Stamford, you can also take a bus to New York City. Head to the Stamford Transportation Center where you'll find several bus services, such as Greyhound or Peter Pan. Purchase a ticket to New York City. The bus ride takes about 1 to 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in New York City, you will typically disembark at the Port Authority Bus Terminal. From there, exit the terminal and walk to 8th Ave. Catch the A or C subway line at 42nd Street-Port Authority and ride one stop to Times Square-42nd Street. From there, walk west on 42nd St to 8th Ave, turn right on 8th Ave, and head north to W 48th St. Turn left on W 48th St and you will reach Hadestown.
Rideshare
If you prefer to take a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft, request a ride from your location in Stamford directly to Hadestown at 219 W 48th St, New York, NY 10036.
