Take the Metro-North Railroad from Stamford Station (located at 1 Station Place, Stamford, CT) to Grand Central Terminal in New York City. Once at Grand Central, follow the signs to the 42nd Street Subway Station. Take the 1 subway train (the red line) heading towards 'Inwood – 207th Street.' Stay on the train for about 14 stops, and get off at the 191st Street Station. From there, exit the station and walk west on 191st Street towards Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and walk south; you will find the United Palace on your right at 4140 Broadway.
Bus
For a bus option, start at the Stamford Transit Center, which is located at 30 Station Place. Take the Greyhound or Peter Pan Bus Lines to New York City. Once you arrive at the Port Authority Bus Terminal, make your way to the 8th Avenue Subway entrance. Take the A subway train (the blue line) from 42nd Street - Port Authority Bus Terminal heading towards 'Inwood - 207th Street.' After approximately 4 stops, get off at the 175th Street Station. Exit the station and walk east on 175th Street until you reach Broadway. Turn left on Broadway and walk north until you reach the United Palace at 4140 Broadway.

From there, walk to the 42nd Street Subway Station and catch the 1 subway train to 191st Street Station.
