    From Stamford, head to the Stamford Train Station located at 30 Station Place. You can reach the station by walking or taking a local bus. Purchase a ticket for a train to New York City. The train you want is the Metro-North Railroad's New Haven Line, which frequently runs trains to Grand Central Terminal. The journey will take approximately 50 minutes. Once you arrive at Grand Central, follow the signs to the subway.

    At Grand Central Terminal, take the 7 subway line towards Hudson Yards. Travel for 4 stops and get off at Times Square-42nd Street. From there, transfer to the N, Q, R, or W line and board a train heading towards 49th Street. Get off at 49th Street Station. Exit the station and walk west on 48th Street for two blocks. The Walter Kerr Theatre will be on your right at 219 W 48th St.

    From Stamford, you could also take a bus to New York City. Head to the Stamford Transportation Center and look for the Greyhound or Peter Pan bus services that go to NYC. Once you arrive in Manhattan, make your way to 42nd Street and 8th Avenue. From there, you can either walk or take the subway. If walking, head east on 42nd Street, then turn left on 8th Avenue and walk north. Continue walking until you reach 48th Street, then turn right. The Walter Kerr Theatre will be on your right.
