Getting There

    From the Stamford train station, exit and head east on Depot Street towards Atlantic Street. Turn left onto Atlantic Street and continue walking for about 0.7 miles. When you reach the intersection with Main Street, turn right and walk for another 0.3 miles until you reach the bus terminal. Take the Metro-North Railroad train towards Grand Central. After approximately 50 minutes, disembark at Grand Central Terminal. From Grand Central, head to the 42nd Street exit and continue walking west towards 6th Avenue. At 6th Avenue, turn right and walk north until you reach the entrance of Central Park. The General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument is located on the west side of the park at 764 Doris C Freedman Place.
