From the Greenwich Metro-North train station, take the New Haven Line towards Grand Central. Disembark at Grand Central Terminal in Manhattan. Once you arrive at Grand Central, exit the station and head to the Metro-North ticket booth to purchase a ticket for the subway. Take the 4, 5, 6, or 7 subway lines to 42nd Street – Times Square. From there, transfer to the S (shuttle) train towards Times Square-42nd Street and get off at 42nd Street – Grand Central. Then walk to the nearest subway station, and take the E train towards World Trade Center. Get off at 50th Street and walk west towards 7th Avenue. Continue walking until you reach Doris C Freedman Place, where the General William Tecumseh Sherman Monument is located.
