Public Transit - Subway
To reach the Unisphere at Flushing Meadows-Corona Park from Stamford, take the Metro-North Railroad train from Stamford Station to Grand Central Terminal. Once at Grand Central, transfer to the 7 subway line (Flushing-bound). Ride the 7 train until you reach the 111th Street station. Upon exiting the station, walk west on 111th Street for about 5 minutes until you reach the entrance of Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. The Unisphere is located within the park, and you will see it shortly after entering.
Public Transit - Bus
From Stamford, board a Metro-North train to New Haven and transfer to a bus that goes to Flushing, Queens. Look for the Q58 or Q48 bus lines that pass through Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Get off at the stop called 'Flushing Meadows-Corona Park' and walk towards the Unisphere, which is clearly visible as you enter the park.
Walking
If you are already in the vicinity of the park, start at the nearest subway stop, which is the 111th Street station on the 7 line. Exit the station and turn west onto 111th Street. Walk straight for about 5 minutes, where you will find the entrance to Flushing Meadows-Corona Park. Once inside, follow the paths to the center of the park to locate the Unisphere.
