If you're driving, head to Naugatuck State Forest located at 297 Hunters Mountain Rd, Naugatuck, CT 06770. From Mansfield, take CT-32 S and merge onto I-84 W. Continue on I-84 W for about 20 miles and take exit 25 for CT-8 S towards Waterbury. Follow CT-8 S for approximately 10 miles and take exit 26 for Naugatuck. Follow the signs to merge onto Rubber Avenue. Turn left onto Naugatuck Ave and continue straight until you reach Hunters Mountain Rd. Turn left onto Hunters Mountain Rd; the forest entrance will be on your right. Parking is available, and there may be a small fee depending on the area you park in.
