  If you're traveling by car from anywhere in The Quiet Corner, start by heading to Route 44. Once on Route 44, head west towards New Fairfield. Continue on Route 44 until you reach the intersection with Route 39. Turn left onto Route 39 South. Follow Route 39 for about 3 miles until you see signs for Squantz Pond State Park. Turn right onto Short Woods Road. The entrance to the park will be on your left at 178 Short Woods Rd, New Fairfield, CT 06812. There is a parking fee of $15 per vehicle.

  To reach Squantz Pond State Park using public transportation, take a bus operated by CT Transit that travels towards Danbury. You will need to get off at the Danbury train station.
