Driving
From Middletown, Connecticut, follow Route 66 West. Turn onto Route 157 North. The main entrance to Wadsworth Falls State Park will be on your left. Parking is available at the main entrance (770 Wadsworth St). Note that out-of-state vehicles are charged a parking fee from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend: $15 on weekends and holidays, $10 on weekdays. Connecticut residents with registered vehicles can park for free. Parking at the Cherry Hill Road lot (25 Cherry Hill Rd) provides the easiest access to the Big Falls. This lot is smaller and fills up quickly.
Walking
From the Inn at Middletown, head north on Main Street towards Washington Street. Turn left onto Washington Street and continue onto Route 66 West. Turn left onto Route 157 North and walk for approximately 1.5 miles. The entrance to Wadsworth Falls State Park will be on your left. This is approximately a 30-minute walk. Remember to check the weather conditions and wear appropriate footwear. There are no costs associated with walking to the park.
