    From any location in The Quiet Corner, head southwest on CT-44 W towards Hartford. Merge onto I-84 W towards Waterbury. Take exit 10 for CT-8 S toward Bridgeport. Continue on CT-8 S and merge onto I-95 S towards New York City. Take exit 62 for NY-25 E toward Smithtown. Merge onto NY-25 E and then take a slight right onto NY-97 S. Continue onto Old Field Rd. The Old Field Point Lighthouse will be located at 207 Old Field Rd, Setauket-East Setauket, NY 11733. There is usually free parking available nearby.

    Public Transportation

    From The Quiet Corner, take a CT Transit bus to Hartford. From Hartford, take Metro-North Railroad to the Port Jefferson station. Once at Port Jefferson, you can take the Long Island Rail Road (LIRR) to Stony Brook station. From there, you will need to use a local taxi or rideshare service, as public transportation does not directly go to the lighthouse. The taxi fare from Stony Brook to the lighthouse is approximately $20-$30.
