• Car

  If you are driving from the center of The Quiet Corner, head southwest on CT-44 W. Continue on CT-44 W for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with I-84. Merge onto I-84 W towards Hartford. After about 4 miles, take exit 59 for CT-30 S towards Manchester. Continue on CT-30 S for about 4 miles, passing through Manchester. Union Pond Mill will be on your right at 260 Tolland Turnpike, Manchester, CT 06042. Look for the historical landmark sign.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Union Pond Mill via public transportation, you can take the CT Transit bus service from various locations in The Quiet Corner to Hartford. Board the bus that heads towards the Hartford area. Once in Hartford, transfer to the CT Transit bus 82 towards Manchester. Ride the bus until you reach the stop near Tolland Turnpike. From there, it is about a 10-minute walk to Union Pond Mill, located at 260 Tolland Turnpike. Make sure to check the bus schedules ahead of time for precise timing, as public transport may have limited hours.

• Walking/Biking

  For those already in Manchester, once you reach Tolland Turnpike, you can walk or bike to Union Pond Mill. The mill is approximately 1.5 miles from downtown Manchester. Head north on Main Street, then turn right onto Tolland Turnpike. The walk or bike ride will take around 30 minutes on foot or about 10 minutes by bike. Make sure to use sidewalks and bike lanes for safety.
