Bus
From West Hartford, head to the nearest bus stop at 1000 Farmington Ave. Take the CT Transit bus route 54 towards Hartford. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes until you reach the stop at Main St & State St in Hartford. From there, transfer to the Pioneer Valley Transit Authority (PVTA) Route 1 bus towards Springfield. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the bus stop at 21 Edwards St. The Springfield Museums will be right in front of you.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, head to the West Hartford town center and take Farmington Ave west towards Hartford. After about 3 miles, turn left onto S Main St and continue straight until you reach the intersection with State St. Then, turn right onto State St and cycle for about 1 mile until you reach the intersection with Edwards St. The Springfield Museums will be on your left. Make sure to use bike lanes where available for safety.

For those who enjoy walking, start at the West Hartford Town Hall. Walk west along Farmington Ave for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with S Main St. Turn left and continue walking straight for about 1 mile until you reach State St. Turn right on State St and walk for another half-mile. Finally, turn left onto Edwards St, and you will see the Springfield Museums ahead.
