Start at the main beach area in Takitumu, known as Muri Beach. From Muri Beach, head south towards the main road (Ara Tapu). Walk along the beach until you reach the end of Muri Beach, which is approximately a 15-20 minute walk. Keep an eye out for the signs indicating the direction to Turoa Beach. Once you reach the end of the beach, you will need to turn left onto Ara Tapu. Continue walking along Ara Tapu for about 10-15 minutes until you reach the turn-off for Turoa Beach. There will be a small path leading off the main road; follow this path until you arrive at Turoa Beach.

If you have a bicycle, start at the main beach area in Muri. Ride south along the coastal road, Ara Tapu. After about 10-15 minutes, look for a small path leading to Turoa Beach on your left.
