If you are driving from La Fortuna town, start on Av. 319 heading south. After about 1.5 km, turn onto Av. 325. Continue on Av. 325 for approximately 3 km. Look for the signs for La Fortuna Butterfly Garden on your left. There is a parking area available on-site.

To reach La Fortuna Butterfly Garden using public transportation, take a local bus from La Fortuna town to the Arenal Volcano area. Buses typically leave from the main bus station in La Fortuna. Inform the driver you want to get off at La Fortuna Butterfly Garden. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes and costs around 500-1000 CRC (Costa Rican Colón). Once you get off, the garden is a short walk down Av. 325.
