Getting There

    From Arenal Volcano National Park, head north towards the town of La Fortuna. Take Route 142 towards the northwest. Continue on Route 142 for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction with Route 6. Turn left onto Route 6 and continue for about 15 km until you reach the town of Bijagua de Upala. Once in Bijagua, look for Banco Nacional on your right. Bijagua Ranas is located 400 meters southeast of the bank. You can park your car nearby.

    From La Fortuna, take a bus towards Upala. Buses leave several times a day, and the fare is about $5 to $7. Inform the bus driver that you want to get off at Bijagua.
